Four children of a family were burnt to death in a fire in Uttar Pradesh. The tragic incident happened in a house fire in Meerut’s Pallavapuram on Saturday. Siblings aged between 10 and 4 died.
According to reports, the cause of the fire was a short circuit while charging the mobile phone. The deceased were identified as Sarika (10), Niharika (8), Sanskar (6) and Kalu (4).
The children’s father, Johnny, escaped with injuries. Wife Babita’s condition is critical. Babita is undergoing treatment at AIIMS Hospital in Delhi. The police have started an investigation into the incident.
