FIR registered under UAPA against accused Dominic in Kalamassery blast. An FIR has been registered under Sections 16(a) and 16(a) of the Explosives Act, murder and attempt to murder.
Meanwhile following the Kalamasery blast, the Medical Board has imposed strict restrictions on visitors who come to see those who are undergoing burn treatment in various hospitals. The medical board’s strict recommendation is because those undergoing treatment are likely to have secondary health problems.
A 14-member medical board has been constituted to ensure expert treatment. The Medical Board consists of the Director of Health Department, expert doctors from Kottayam, Thrissur, Kalamaseri Medical Colleges and Health Department. So far 52 people have sought treatment. Currently 18 people are in ICU. 6 of them are in critical condition.
