Kozhikode: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that Kozhikode Institute will be established at the international level for organ transplantation. The government aims to make organ transplants transparent and free. The Chief Minister was speaking at the inauguration of Kadampuzha Bhagavathy Devaswom Charitable Hospital and Dialysis Centre.
Operating since 1988, the suspensory has been upgraded to a super specialty hospital. Services including dialysis are available free from the hospital. Malabar Devaswom Board Chairman MR Murali, Minister V Abdur Rahman, Prof. Abid Hussain Thangal MLA, CPIM Malappuram District Secretary EN Mohandas, Malabar, Katampuzha Devaswom officials and others were present.
