Kochi: Silver Storm Water Theme Park in Athirapally has been closed after two people who entered the water in the park were diagnosed with rat fever. The park was closed after the inspection conducted by the health authorities.
Those who came to visit the park from Ernakulam and Aluva were confirmed to have rat fever. Those who went into the water in the park had contracted high fevers and had chronic conditions. Several students reported diarrhea and vomiting. The sample of five people was sent for testing.
