New Delhi: Ministry of Health has instructed the Ministry of Aviation to strengthen monitoring and inspection at airports. The action was taken after the spread of Covid in China.
2% of passengers arriving in the country are to be tested and if the disease is confirmed, the sample will be sent for genetic sequencing.
It was instructed to start the inspection at 10 am on Saturday. After giving the sample, passengers can go out.
