Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala’s first IMAX theater is coming up in Thiruvananthapuram. In December, IMAX is coming to Lulu Mall to create a new visual experience. The movie ‘Avatar the Way of Water’ will be shown first. The news was shared on Twitter by Pritam Daniel, vice president of iMax Asia.
”IMAX is opening at Lulumal in Thiruvananthapuram in December. Avatar premiere. We are starting the first IMAX in Kerala’. Pritam Daniel tweeted. The news was officially confirmed by Lulu Group but no date was announced.
Apart from Thiruvananthapuram, discussions are also underway to bring IMAX to Cinepolis in Kochi Center Square Mall and PVR in Lulu Mall. Pritam tweeted that he visited these places as part of this.
