Lucknow: Nine people died when a wall collapsed due to heavy rain. The incident took place in Dilkusha area of Lucknow. Three children were among the dead. Two people were injured in the accident.
The wall of the nearby military center collapsed. The victims were working families who lived near the military base. Rescue operation is going on.
The injured were admitted to nearby hospitals. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced a financial assistance of four lakhs to the families of the deceased. The Chief Minister announced that Rs 2 lakh each will be given to the injured.
