Mumbai: Five members of a family died in a car accident. The accident took place on the Ahmednagar-Pune highway near Ranjangaon in Maharashtra.
A container hit the car the family was traveling in. Five members of a family in the car died. One person was seriously injured and is undergoing treatment.
SP Abhinav Deshmukh said the container was traveling in the wrong direction. The container driver is absconding after the accident. The police have started searching for him.
