What is Rahu Kalam?
Rahu Kalam is a traditional daytime period generally avoided for beginning important new activities. It is not itself an auspicious Muhurat window. In Malayalam, it is commonly called രാഹുകാലം.
How the location-aware calculation works
The engine calculates sunrise and sunset for the chosen coordinates and IANA time zone, divides daylight into eight equal parts, and applies the traditional weekday sequence. Yamagandam and Gulika use their own weekday sequences. All displayed clock values are rounded to the nearest minute.
