Election Commission has changed the date of Rajasthan assembly elections

Jaipur: The Election Commission has changed the date of Rajasthan assembly elections.  The election scheduled for November 23 has been shifted to November 25.  The election date was changed considering the demand of political parties and various organizations.  The decision has been taken after considering many functions including weddings.

 50,000 marriages take place in Rajasthan on November 23.  Political parties and various organizations demanded that the date be changed due to weddings and religious functions.  Elections will be held in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Mizoram and Telangana states in November.

 Polling in Chhattisgarh will be held in two phases.  Voting will be held in Mizoram and Chhattisgarh on November 7.  The second phase of polling in Chhattisgarh will be held on November 17.  Voting will be held on November 17 in Madhya Pradesh and November 30 in Telangana.  Counting of votes will be held on December 3.

Mandatory seat belt in heavy vehicles including KSRTC;  Effective November 1

Thiruvananthapuram: From November 1, seat belts have been made mandatory for drivers and front-seat passengers in heavy vehicles including KSRTC.  Transport Minister Antony Raju informed about this.

  Antony Raju said that the figures submitted to the High Court regarding the AI ​​camera are correct.

 As of September 5, 6,267,853 violations were detected.  A total of 44,623 violations took place this month.  MPs and MLAs broke the law 56 times.  102.80 crores remitted.  The minister said that 14.88 crores have been received as fine.  All vehicle owners whose mobile numbers are registered have been issued notices asking them to pay fines for violating the law.  The minister added that cases, where fines are not paid, will be transferred to virtual court and later to open court.

Shopian encounter: Army kills two terrorists

Srinagar: Clash in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district.  Army killed two terrorists. One of the deceased was involved in the murder of Kashmiri Pandit Sanjay Sharma, the Kashmir police said.  Clashes continue in the area.

 An encounter between terrorists and security forces started this morning at Alshipora Meghalaya in Shopian.  The terrorists who were killed are Morifat Maqbool and Jasim Farooq.  Farooq is suspected to be involved in the murder of Kashmiri Pandit Sanjay Sharma, police said.  It is reported that there are more terrorists in the area.  Clashes are ongoing at the site.

 Kashmiri Pandit Sanjay Sharma was killed in February this year.  Sharma, who was working as a security guard in the bank, was shot dead by the terrorists.  Sharma was shot while going to the market near his house.  He was taken to the hospital but died during treatment.

Hamas warns people to leave city;  The death toll in Israel has surpassed 1,000

 Tel Aviv: The number of people killed in Israel by Hamas attack has exceeded 1000.  The Israeli embassy in America reports that 1,008 people were killed.  It is also reported that around 3400 people are being treated in hospital with serious injuries.

 At the same time, Hamas warned people to evacuate the southern Israeli city of Ashkelon.  Hamas is warning that airstrikes are about to take place here and that the city should be evacuated by 5 p.m. local time.

Recruitment scam case;  Basit arrested

Thiruvananthapuram: The police arrested Basit, who is accused in the recruitment fraud case.  Basit was taken into custody by the Cantonment police team from Mancheri.  Basit was not present despite being called twice earlier for questioning.

Israel-Hamas clash: Air India cancels flights

New Delhi: Air India has announced that it is canceling flights to Israel in the wake of the Israel-Hamas clash.  The airline has stated that there will be no service to Tel Aviv, the capital of Israel, until October 14.  There will also be no services from Israel.

 It is estimated that there are 18,000 Indian citizens in Israel.  Most of them are employed as ‘caregivers’ who take care of the elderly.  Indians are also present in fields like diamond trade, IT and construction sector.  A good proportion of those who came as caregivers are Malayalis.  The Tel Aviv, Bersheva and Ramla areas are the most populated by Indians.  In addition to these, there are 85,000 Jews of Indian origin in Israel, according to the embassy.

 On Saturday night, Hamas rockets hit the southern cities of Israel.  Hamas forces had crossed the border into Israel when the rocket hit.  About 250 Israelis were killed in the ensuing firefight.  Dozens of Palestinian prisoners were rescued.  Meanwhile, there were attacks from Lebanon and Northern Israel.  The attack was carried out by an armed organization called Hezbollah, declaring solidarity with the Palestinians.

 The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has been going on for ages.  Palestine has only the Hamas army and the help of Iran to resist the attacks of Israel, which is supported by countries including the United States.

 Last day, Israel faced the biggest attack in the last 50 years.  It is reported that a total of 500 people were killed in Israel.  In response, Israel attacked Palestine and Lebanon.

Tel Aviv: Air India evacuates crew from Israel amid ongoing war with Hamas. Ten employees were evacuated. Bring them to India after reaching the Ethiopian city of Azid Ababa. The crew of the canceled Air India flight was transferred to Ethiopia.

 As the fighting continues, flights to and from Tel Aviv on Saturday have been canceled due to security concerns.  Due to this, the employees were stuck there.  They are being transferred to Ethiopia with the help of the Israeli army.
