Thiruvananthapuram: Thunderstorms and strong winds are likely in 8 districts of the state. The Meteorological Department has warned that there is a possibility of rain with thunder and strong winds at isolated places till Sunday.
The Disaster Management Authority has issued cautionary instructions in the event of a severe thunderstorm warning. Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, Palakkad, and Malappuram districts are likely to receive rain.
