The Supreme Court has upheld the Kerala government’s decision, ‘There is no need for one year of compulsory training after nursing studies’

New Delhi: The Supreme Court has said that there is no need for one year of compulsory training after studying nursing. The Supreme Court upheld the Kerala government’s decision to ban compulsory training.

The Supreme Court order rejected the plea of private hospitals challenging the government decision. The Supreme Court observed that out of the four years of study, six months of training is given. On the basis of this, the decision was reached that there is no need for additional compulsory training.
