Chance of rain with thunder and lightning in the state

Thiruvananthapuram: The Central Meteorological Department has predicted rain with thunder and lightning at isolated places in the state till Friday. Since thunder and lightning are dangerous, precautions should be taken from the time the clouds begin to be seen. Avoid standing in open areas if you see signs of lightning. The alert of the State Disaster Management Authority states that the electricity connection of household appliances should be disconnected and proximity to electrical appliances should be avoided.
