Mumbai: Schools in Maharashtra will open from Monday. Classes one to 12 will start. The directive was issued by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad said the decision was taken in view of the declining number of covid cases in the state. The government said in a statement that the schools would be reopened from January 24 in compliance with the covid protocol.
