JP Nadda’s tenure extended; K Surendran will continue in Kerala

New Delhi:  JP Nadda will continue as BJP National President. Amit Shah announced in the National Executive Committee that Nadda will continue till June next year. Nadda’s name was suggested in the meeting by Rajnath Singh. Amit Shah said that the decision was unanimous.

Nadda took the organization forward in a good way even during the Covid period. Amit Shah also said that under Nadda, Bengal and North Eastern states have performed well in the elections. Nadda also organized massive campaign programs to bring the people’s welfare and development projects implemented by the central government to the people. The defeat of the BJP in the Himachal Pradesh assembly election, which is Nadda’s constituency, was a flaw in the assessment of the National Executive Committee.

At the same time, the party has decided to face the elections to 9 states and the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly, and the Lok Sabha elections under the leadership of Nadda. JP Nadda will continue as chairman till June 2024. JP Nadda, who was the health minister in the first Narendra Modi government, succeeded Amit Shah as the party president in 2020.

The BJP national leadership has reached a decision to let K Surendran continue as BJP state president.
