Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s plea seeking extension of interim bail has been rejected by the Supreme Court. He applied citing health reasons. Arvind Kejriwal, who was in judicial custody in the Delhi liquor case, was granted bail till June 1 for election campaign activities. He should return to Tihar Jail on June 2. A bench of Justice JK Maheshwari and KV Viswanathan said the petition would be handed over to Chief Justice DY Chandrachud and he would decide when to hear the matter.
