Abu Dhabi: Five new cases of monkeypox were confirmed in the UAE on Tuesday. With this, the number of confirmed cases of monkeypox in the country has increased to 13. The Ministry of Health has announced that two patients who were being treated for monkeypox in hospitals in the UAE have recovered.
Authorities said the public should take precautionary measures and the government has taken necessary steps to prevent the spread of the disease.
