Vaccination facilities will arrange for college students: Minister Veena George

VeenaGeorge

Thiruvananthapuram: Minister Veena George said that as colleges are to be opened for final year undergraduate and postgraduate students, covid vaccination facilities will be provided to them. All students must take at least one dose of the covid vaccine to reach college. Those who have time to receive the second dose should also receive the second dose of the vaccine. The minister said students should contact the nearest health workers or Asha workers to get the vaccine.

The vaccine is available free of charge from government vaccination centers. The covid vaccine is available from selected private hospitals at government-mandated rates. The two vaccines currently being offered, covishield and covaxin, are equally safe and effective in combating covid.
