Karipur: Two more persons have been arrested in customs custody in connection with the Karipur gold smuggling case. Ajmal, a resident of Panur, and his friend Ashiq were taken into custody.
Ajmal is the son of Sakina of Panur. Sakina was questioned by the customs team yesterday. Two people were taken into custody after this.
The Customs will approach the High Court seeking the Arjun Ayanki in custody. The ACJM court had earlier rejected the custody application.
