Thiruvananthapuram: Health Minister Veena George has said that the vaccine will be available to everyone above the age of 45 in the state within two to three months. Minister said the crisis was due to the low level of vaccine provided by the Center. At present, the vaccine is only available for three days in the state, she said.
Veena said the health sector was going through a health emergency and action was being taken to tackle the third wave. Children are more likely to get sick when the third wave arrives. As a precautionary measure, pediatric ICUs will be set up in hospitals, she said.
