Kochi: 44 more trains, including long distance trains running through Kerala, have been canceled. With this, 62 trains were canceled in two weeks. The suspension is until the end of this month. At present only a handful of daily trains like Parasuram, Malabar, Maveli and Amrita are in service.
Two superfast trains from Thiruvananthapuram to Chennai, Mangalore-Chennai, Ernakulam-Lokmanya Tilak, Kochuveli-Porbandar, Kochuveli-Indore, Vanchinad Express, Ernakulam-Shornur, Ernakulam-Alappuzha, Alappuzha-Kollam and Kannur-Shornur were also cancelled.
