Attingal: The Excise Enforcement seized 501.5 kg of cannabis smuggled in a secret compartment of a container lorry from Korani Tolmuk around 7 am yesterday. These will be worth Rs 20 crore in the market. Excise said that this is the biggest cannabis hunt in Kerala. The lorry driver Kulwant Singh Khalsi from Punjab and his accomplice Krishnayadav from Jharkhand were arrested in connection with the incident. It was brought to the godown of a native of Chirayinkeezhu to be delivered to traders in Thrissur, Kannur, and Ernakulam.
