Idukki: Strict restrictions have been imposed in Idukki district as part of coronavirus prevention efforts. 119 people, including their families, are being monitored by the health department at the T-County resort where the corona infected man lived in Munnar. All major tourist destinations in Munnar have been closed down. The district administration has warned that stern action will be taken against those who are released on probation.
Foreign tourists were completely banned. Munnar is now in a state of complete silence. The Emergency Corona Help Center has also started in the area. Checking centers will be opened at Adimali, Anachal, and Munnar. Devikulam sub-collector Premkrishnan said that the activities of the special medical team has been intensified.
