Kozhikode: A district sessions court on Tuesday dismissed the bail application of Alan Shuaib, 19, and Thaha Faisal, 24, who were arrested by the UAPA on charges of Maoist links in Kozhikode. The bail plea cannot be granted as it stands in the UAPA. The defendant said he would approach the High Court.
The FIR and evidence of his confession became crucial. The lawyers have been granted permission to meet the accused. Meanwhile, the defense lawyer said that they would approach the High Court.
