Popular anchor Ranjini Haridas has opened up about the severe mental stress and harrowing personal experiences she had to endure during her 30-year-old career. Speaking through her official YouTube channel, she revealed some shocking incidents that happen behind the scenes in the entertainment industry.
Ranjini detailed how she boldly fought back against misconduct during international stage shows and commercial shoots. From turning into a fierce protector (‘Bhadrakali’) in Dubai when organizers tried to trap female artists, to publicly confronting a coordinator and client in Kannur who demanded she stay back in their room after a shoot, she held nothing back.
She also shared highly disturbing encounters, including a well-known actor sending her shirtless photos and an individual from the music industry asking for sexual favors. Ranjini emphasized that she managed to survive with her dignity intact for so long only because she chose to be uncompromising and tough, but expressed deep concern for younger girls who are too afraid to speak up.
