Aranmula: Kerala Health Minister and Left Democratic Front (LDF) candidate Veena George has strongly condemned the widespread destruction of her election campaign boards and posters in the Aranmula constituency. Taking to her official social media page, the minister expressed her strong protest, questioning whether the opposition was acting out of a fear of defeat.
As the election campaign intensifies, LDF posters and flex boards installed in various parts of the constituency have reportedly been vandalized and removed. The minister reacted sharply to these incidents, calling out the unethical nature of the attacks.
In her social media post, Veena George stated that her well-wishers have pointed out that such acts are entirely unlike the usual behavior of local political workers in the area. “Are the opponents this scared of defeat?” the minister asked in her post. She further added a powerful message to her rivals: “You may tear the pictures on the boards, but these attackers cannot erase the pictures from the minds of the people.”
The destruction of campaign materials has now become a major topic of discussion in the political circles of Aranmula. Despite these provocations, the LDF camp remains highly confident, asserting that such desperate tactics by political rivals will not influence the public’s mandate.
