Popular Malayalam rapper Vedan has officially tied the knot with his long-time partner, Navami. The couple got married in a beautifully intimate ceremony held today, surrounded by their close friends and family members.
Addressing the media outside the venue, an ecstatic Vedan described the day as one of the most significant milestones of his life. “I am experiencing one of the happiest moments of my life right now,” the rapper shared. “I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has stood by me during my journey and continues to support us. Thank you all so much.”
Navami also expressed her joy, noting that the day marked the beautiful culmination of their love story. “This was our long-time wish. The event went even better than we had anticipated, without any hurdles, and it’s all thanks to everyone’s blessings,” she added.
A unique and profound highlight of the wedding was the couple’s decision to forgo traditional religious witnesses, instead choosing to take their vows keeping the Indian Constitution as their witness. Explaining this thoughtful choice, Vedan stated, “We got married with the Constitution as our witness. We believe this will be a meaningful example for future generations.”
When asked about the fans who expressed disappointment over missing out on the celebrations, Vedan urged them to understand the family’s desire for privacy. He explained that the wedding was a very minimal and private affair, with simple decorations even at his own home. Apologizing to fans who wished they could attend, he warmly requested some privacy for him and Navami to step into their new life together.
