Thiruvananthapuram: Yadhu Krishnan, the KSRTC driver who was at the center of a controversy involving Thiruvananthapuram Mayor Arya Rajendran, has found a new livelihood. He has now taken up a job as a Swiggy delivery partner.
Yadhu was spotted by the media while working during the national strike. He revealed that he has been working with the food delivery platform for the past month. He explained that constant difficulties from officials while driving the bus forced him to shift to this new sector.
“While driving the bus, I was constantly targeted with inspections and other issues. Since the case is still ongoing, I decided to step away for the time being to avoid further trouble. However, driving a bus remains my passion,” Yadhu said.
He added that one only needs the mindset to work, regardless of the job. “If there is an obstacle in one place, I will look for the next job; I won’t just sit and give up,” he stated. Yadhu also mentioned that he is currently earning a better income than his KSRTC salary, making around ₹2,000 a day if he works full-time.
