New Delhi: India has successfully conducted the test launch of the Agni Prime missile using a rail-based mobile launcher system for the first time. The missile, designed with a strike range of 2,000 km, can be moved easily along railway networks and launched quickly. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said the successful test demonstrates India’s advancement in developing canisterized, rail-based launch systems. The trial was jointly conducted by DRDO, Strategic Forces Command, and the Indian Army.
