The Central Meteorological Department’s rainfall forecast for the next five days has been released. The Central Meteorological Department has announced a yellow alert in various districts for three days from Tuesday. The weather in the state has been clear for the last few days.
A yellow alert has been issued in Idukki, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur and Kasaragod districts on Tuesday. On Wednesday, a yellow alert will be issued in Ernakulam, Idukki, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur and Kasaragod districts and on Thursday, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur and Kasaragod districts.
Isolated heavy rains are predicted. Heavy rain is defined as a situation where 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm of rain is received in 24 hours.
