Thiruvananthapuram: The Vigilance Court in Thiruvananthapuram has rejected a clean chit report given to ADGP M.R. Ajith Kumar in a disproportionate assets case. The report had earlier found no corruption in his flat purchase or alleged gold smuggling links. The court has directed the statement of complainant Adv. Nagarajan to be recorded. The case involves allegations related to the construction of a luxury house, smuggling of gold, and illegal felling of trees at the Malappuram SP’s residence. The petitioner alleged that the investigation, conducted by officers under the ADGP, failed to properly verify property records.
