Kannur: The wife of late ADM Naveen Babu, Manjusha, has filed a petition in the trial court seeking further investigation into his death. She has highlighted 13 major flaws in the SIT (Special Investigation Team) report and expressed dissatisfaction with the current investigation.
The petition alleges that false cases were fabricated to frame the accused, Prashanth, and that electronic evidence was tampered with. It also points out that despite the accused being affiliated with a political party, proper evidence was not collected.
Failures to accurately gather call detail records (CDRs) and to include findings from departmental investigations in the police report were cited as additional lapses by the SIT.
