New Delhi: A Delhi court has issued a notice to businessman Robert Vadra, husband of Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi, in connection with a money laundering case registered by the ED.
On Friday, the Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi sent notices to Vadra and several individuals and companies accused in the case. The ED recently filed a chargesheet against three individuals and eight entities.
The case is related to a 3.5-acre land deal in 2008, where Vadra’s company, Skylight Hospitality, reportedly bought land from Onkareshwar Properties for ₹7.5 crore using forged documents. The property was allegedly transferred to Vadra within 24 hours.
