Patna: A 26-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped inside an ambulance in Gaya, Bihar, on July 24. The incident occurred while she was being taken to the hospital after fainting during a physical examination for Bihar Military Police recruitment.
The woman alleged that multiple individuals sexually assaulted her inside the vehicle. Based on her complaint, Gaya police arrested the ambulance driver Vinay Kumar and technician Ajit Kumar within two hours. They are currently in custody and being interrogated.
Police are collecting CCTV footage and have deployed a forensic science team to gather crucial evidence. The victim has undergone a medical examination, and her statement has been recorded.
