Thiruvananthapuram: V.S. Achuthanandan, a prominent communist leader and former Chief Minister of Kerala, passed away at the age of 102. He had been undergoing treatment for age-related ailments for several days. Achuthanandan succumbed to a cardiac arrest while in the intensive care unit of a hospital.
