Dubai is set to implement a new public health law from July 2025, following the decree issued by UAE Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The legislation outlines updated protocols for medical fitness assessments required for employment, residency, and driving licenses.In addition to these provisions, the law also focuses on promoting physical and mental health among youth, countering harmful behaviors, supporting anti-drug initiatives, and ensuring holistic healthcare for the elderly.
