The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast isolated heavy rainfall in the state. A yellow alert has been issued for four districts today — Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Kottayam, and Idukki.
The weather warning also includes the likelihood of strong winds and thunderstorms. The advisory warns that such weather conditions can pose risks to human and animal life, damage electrical and communication networks, and harm household appliances connected to power sources.
Authorities have urged the public to remain cautious and take necessary safety measures.
