Kochi: The Peerumedu police have registered a case against actor Maniyanpilla Raju on a sexual assault complaint. The case was registered on the complaint of an actress from Aluva. The action was taken on the complaint that he spoke sexually and started touching her body while she was going to the shooting location in a car.
The complaint alleges that the incident took place in 2009 while Maniyanpilla Raju was going to the location from Kuttikanam in a car on the sets of the film Da Thadiya. The actress also says in her complaint that the actor’s behavior caused defamation.
