Mananthavady: Education Minister V Sivankutty has directed to investigate and submit a report on food poisoning in Mananthavady Dwarka AUP School, Wayanad. The report was requested from the Wayanad District Collector. About 40 children were affected by food poisoning.
The children who ate lunch on Friday suffered from vomiting and diarrhoea. Lunch was rice, sambar and eggs. About a thousand school children had lunch yesterday. The children who suffered physical discomfort have been admitted to the Mananthavady Medical College Hospital.
