Kochi: Adv.Saiby Jose Kitangur resigned. Saiby has resigned from the post of president of the High Court Advocates Association. In his resignation, Saiby stated that there was a conspiracy behind the case against him. At the same time, the
police interrogated the film producer who was a client of Adv. Saiby Jose.
Another police investigation is in progress regarding the revelation that he took a bribe of Rs 25 lakh from the producer of Saiby Jose to get anticipatory bail in the rape case. The producer had told another lawyer that he had paid Saiby Jose. The producer also revealed that Saiby Jose. It was in this situation that the special investigation team interrogated the producer. In the resignation letter, Saiby alleged that there was a conspiracy behind the case against him.
The High Court rejected Saiby Jose’s request to stop the investigation.
