Chennai: During the Jallikattu in Tamil Nadu, a man died after getting involved in Jellikattu at Palamedu. Arvindraj, a native of Palamedu, died. Aravindarajan died by subduing 9 bulls.
Meanwhile, 60 people were injured in Jallikattu at Avaniyapuram in Madurai. 20 people were seriously injured. 40 people were injured. The injured were admitted to Rajaji Hospital. Madurai District Collector Anish Shekhar said that there was no casualty. The Collector said that all arrangements have been made to ensure the safety of participants and spectators.
