Thrissur: E-hundi placed in Guruvayur. The e-Kanika system is a collaboration between State Bank of India, a public sector bank, and Guruvayoor Devaswom Board.E-Kanika system has been implemented in Guruvayur temple targeting new generation temple devotees. Two ‘E’ Bhandaras should be present in the temple for this purpose. That’s why even if you don’t have money in hand for offerings and Dakshina, you can use the e-Kanika system. People can avail this service even at home. QR code has also been displayed at various places in the temple. Guruvayur Devaswom Board Chairman V.K. Vijayan E inaugurated the project.
Any amount can be given as a gift through e-hundi. State Bank of India will ensure the security of transactions. Online payment system has also been arranged at the prasad distribution counters for offering prasad stew, etc. Each month’s bhandar received through e-Bhandar will be recorded in the counting figures.
