Actor Sreejith Ravi granted bail in POCSO case

Kochi: Sreejith Ravi was granted bail in POCSO case. Bail was granted by the High Court. Bail was granted in the case of performing nudity in front of children.
The bail was granted by accepting the argument that he is undergoing treatment for a personality disorder. The court also directed that Sreejith Ravi’s wife and father should submit an affidavit that they will provide necessary treatment for personality disorder. The court also said that if this kind of incident repeats, the bail will be canceled.
The incident took place near Thrissur Ayanthol SN Park. He was performing a nudity show in front of two children aged eleven and five. The children informed their parents about this. But the suspect could not be identified. Later a complaint was filed with the police. The police arrested Sreejith Ravi after checking the nearby CCTVs. Sreejith Ravi was an accused in a similar case earlier. He was arrested in 2016 for performing nudity on school students at Ottapalam Pathiripala in Palakkad.
