The India Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for heavy rainfall in four districts of Kerala: Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, and Kasaragod. Orange alerts are in place for Thrissur, Palakkad, and Malappuram, while yellow alerts cover Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, and Idukki.
