Ambalamukku Vineetha murder case: Defendant hid weapon inside a pipe

Thiruvananthapuram: The weapon used by the accused Rajendran in the murder case of Vineetha, an employee of a plant shop at Ambalamukku in Thiruvananthapuram, has been found. Police found the knife used by Rajendran. The knife was hidden inside a pipe in Rajendran’s room. The knife identified the defendant.

The accused had gone to the tea shop where he was working and collected evidence. Rajendran was working near the Peroorkada police station. The hotel staff also lived nearby. It took about an hour and a half to pull out the knife. According to the statement, the knife was thrown while going in the car and discarded while going on the bike.
