Irregularity in excise policy; CBI raids Delhi Deputy Chief Minister’s house

New Delhi: CBI raids Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia’s house. The raid is being conducted in connection with irregularities in the Delhi Excise policy. The CBI is conducting inspections at 21 places in Delhi-NCR, including the house of Excise Commissioner Arava Gopi Krishna.

“Welcome the CBI probe. Will fully cooperate in the investigation to reveal the truth. It is a sad attitude to persecute those who work honestly. This is why our country is not number 1 yet” – tweeted Manish Sisodia. The raid started this morning.

“Some are upset with the wonderful work the government is doing in the areas of education and health. That is why Delhi’s Health Minister and Education Minister have been arrested. There are false allegations against them. The truth will come out in court. So far many cases have been filed against me but nothing has been proved” – Manish Sisodia wrote in another tweet.
