Actress Maheshwari Amma changed her name to KPAC Lalitha when she started her career as a stage artist. KPAC Lalitha is a National Award winner actress who was married to late popular director Bharathan. KPAC Lalitha is basically from Alappuzha and started to elarn dance when she was a child. KPAC Lalitha appeared intially in stage dramas and that too when she was just ten years old.KPAC Lalitha joined K P A C troup. Even when she was in movies, the name of the troup remained with her name as the name Lalitha was common at that time. Sidharth is the son of KPAC Lalitha and Bharathan who is also an actor and a director too.
