Malayali actress Anumol has occupied a seat in the consideration list for National awards. The wonderful performance of this new actress in the film ‘Chayillyam’ helped Anumol in finding a place in the consideration list. ‘Chayillyam’ has also got place in the national award list for 10 different categories like direction and cinematography etc.. Ozhimuri, Kalliyachan, Nuttyonnu Chodyangal,, Manjadikuru, Venal Oduganthae and Usthad Hotel are the other films from Malayalam in the consideration list of national awards.
