Director Sasikumar has got the JC Daniel award of the year 2012 based on his evaluable services to Malayalam film industry. The jury panel consists of M.K.Arjunan, Priyadarshan,Sukumari,Raghavan and Sajan Peter elected Sasikumar for the award. The JC Daniel award consists of amount of Rupees 1 Lakh and memento. Chief Minister has already announced that government will increase the amount of the award. Sasikumar contributed 141 films to Malayalam film industry in his direction.
