A youth died in Thrissur of monkeypox: the country’s first death has been confirmed

Thrissur: The test results of the young man who died in Thrissur confirmed monkeypox. The result of the test done at the Pune Virology Lab came. Then he was first admitted to a private hospital in Chavakkad and from there to Thrissur. The disease was confirmed in a test conducted abroad. A meeting was called today in Punnayur under the leadership of health department officials for further preventive measures.
